Qi Gong & Tai Chi is a total system of exercises promoting circulation, flexibility, inner strength as well as mental and physical disciple. These practices are known to clear the mind, increase balance and coordination, as well as improve the quality of all the essential functions - like sleep, digestion and breathing.
SHAOLIN KUNG FU
Shaolin Kung Fu, also called Shaolin Wushu or Shaolin quan, is one of the oldest, largest, and most famous styles of wushu or kungfu. It combines Ch'an philosophy and martial arts and originated and was developed in the Shaolin temple in Henan province, China during its 1500-year history. Shaolin Temple brings this tradition to downtown Toronto. The study of Kung Fu begins with simple, everyday moves, and goes far beyond just fighting. From a young age, Shaolin Monks are trained to use Kung Fu to channel their energy, focus their minds, and develop balance of body and spirit. The roots of this ancient art are timeless, and its practice has remained unchanged for hundreds of years – and yet, there is no end to what can be learnt and applied to everyday life.
